To avoid the contact of mascara to cheeks, you can take help of any simple paper or piece of cloth. If you have thick tissue paper you can use that too. Put a piece of thick tissue paper, simple paper or a piece of cloth under the lower eyelashes.

Now sweep the mascara stick brush on your eyelashes. This time you have to apply it from above. Keep in mind! Never use the amount of mascara that you left with, after using it on upper eyelash. It may be dried up. For equal look, dip the stick in the tube and take the amount of mascara same as it was taken for upper eyelash. Do not move mascara stick in a way that destroys the shape of eyelashes. Remember to move it gently. For a professional look, start applying mascara from the waterline of your eyes and after it apply black eye pencil. This will make your eye look much lively and bigger than previous.
